I agree on this recently as an officer myself in MO19 I get to a scene and there are like 10 bulletproof Ferraris all armed driving over me when I am trying to deal with a suspect. Maybe we could keep the bulletproof but allow officers to tase people out bulletproof cars.
i disagree strongly as all mos have to do is jump on your car with cuffs and spam x, as someone who plays on civ a LOT the game has become unenjoyable because of the dumb “intended features”
I completely agree with this suggestion, it is almost impossible to actually enjoy gameplay due to this new update.
This is if you can survive when the vehicle’s acceleration hits you off the car. I am glad you are enjoying the game now and you should be however we need to make sure everyone is enjoying the game.
This is about bulletproof cars causing issues, not a full upgrade suite. Bulletproof alone should be about 300k as, in real life, having a FULL (Doors, engine, windows etc) high grade bulletproof vehicle (Especially Ferraris, McLarens etc) costs ALOT more than 100k.
It is incredibly hard for “Any police officer can literally get on top of a car, eject you and cuff at the same time.” As you just drive around and eventually they get ran over (The line of sight to eject is tricky).
“MO19 who still get snipers for FREE”, their whole purpose is to handle firearms incidents, therefore they are adequately provided for this. The only reason that the sniper game pass costs money is to put it behind a paywall, else they may have to do trainings.
“MO19 it most certainly has created balance”, a huge point here that nobody seems to get is that a huge organization that has massive funding SHOULD be better equipped than all civilians. The fact that you can buy fully automatic guns and have a fully armored car for about 110k is ridiculous.
If you have a problem with being ejected use the variety of tools you have to your advantage (Drive away!)
Right now, the LAS team is nearly unplayable.
Recently its gone beyond the “we will shoot you if you try to revive police.” Now we get shot just for driving by, even when not responding to an emergency. Since our cars don’t get bulletproofing by default, we don’t have any protection.
When there are gangs in servers, playing as LAS is impossible - no matter how careful you are.
Because of how the game is designed, 95% of calls will be from guns - meaning LAS will always be the target on-scene. While we do have procedures in place to stay away from those types of calls, it gets boring after a while not being able to attend any calls because of guns.
While I understand why civilians might shoot LAS when they are reviving police right in front of them, randomly shooting LAS is incredibly boring and makes playing the team impossible.
Especially with the new update for civilians - crashing LAS vehicles and shooting them without repercussions is incredibly demotivating.
Calling MPS also doesn’t help - because as you mentioned, civilians using bulletproof cars make it virtually impossible to play.
Mm I can understand the MO7 and MO8 POV, being unnecessarily killed and not having any way to defend yourself such as a firearm or bullet proof vehicle seems annoying. As a rule of thumb I generally avoid killing them unless it’s for a heist uniform or they’re arresting someone. On the car part I think that’s just something that civilians should keep. MPS (MO19 for the most part) has all the necessary tools to deal with armed incidents. They don’t have super cars for the same reason civilians don’t have stun grenades or PAVA. Each team should have their distinct advantage in certain matters in my opinion. About the weapons, I do believe those could be looked at. I believe the developers should release the stats for them. (Such as fire rate and damage between different body parts if applicable)
I believe the resolution for MO8/MO7 would be introducing a blue ticket for them. Not so they can respond to armed incidents but purely for self defense. Another thing would for them to be able to acquire a bullet proof vehicle somehow without needing to spend 100k on it. MPS usually has the numbers advantage as I’ve seen 20 MPS on and 15 civilians. This isn’t always the case clearly but during MO19 deployments I can see it. (which not all have the maxed out ferraris or perm guns)
Another thing which is a bit off topic is that most people in BP, every team, can agree that the bugs and performance of the game is an issue. If this was worked on rather than just issuing new content updates for the most part I believe it would be a huge relief, especially for those who are on BP quite a bit.
I absolutely agree to the suggestion, ever since the bullet proof vehicles. Specialists have been nothing but a target throughout, making the gameplay extremely frustrating especially when being targeted by multiple civilians, a reform should be bought that balances game for all teams. Good suggestion.
There is no balance at all, MO19 ( 1 small division with a select amount of members) does not play 24/7, which is also quite unhealthy. Only a handfull of MO19 members get sniper for free, with heavy regulations and restrictions, you cannot even use this as a excuse as this is hardly used. This division cars are no way near good, or better compared to any (fully) upgraded civilian armoured vehicle, especially ferraris.Super majority of the players do not even have enough cash to upgrade it a few times. No default or upgraded MO8/7/19 car can catch any upgraded ferrari, or even arrest anyone inside as you cannot tase through armoured windows. The only option is to stand unrealisticly on the roof of the car, while they are speeding at 200mph away from any civilization, hoping you do not get flung in a attempt to eject the person out of their car, who can immediately shoot you. Additionally it is a mega challenge to get ontop of a car as you all speed away, taunt with clown horns from distances and are physically unable to be desynced at all. You cannnot win against armoured or upgraded ferraris. This is London not GTA, civilians arent supposed to have huge amounts of cover. Your armoured cars are unrealistic, game ruining and heavily disliked.
I only mentioned MPS, however our brothers in RG and LAS are raging in the game due to the choas and unfairness caused. LAS, cannot do anything at all but endure being desynced in no armoured cars while trying to rush to 100 emergencies of dead players hoping they do not get killed when trying to heal literally anyone. You cannot win at all against this gameplay, armoured ferraris, or heavily gunned civilians.
This suggestion is not only about MO19, please read the suggestion in its entirely and all related comments rather than 1 small part.
Yeah, about MPS and LAS, as MPS i have to put my body on the line just to stop a bulletproof ferarri going over 100 mph… Sometimes i die, sometimes i dont, but sure enough it is annoying, as LAS, i try to heal people and i get shot out of nowhere, while i still would enjoy the game, newer players definitely wouldnt, talking about MO, ive seen MO do their work, MO8 - i once saw brutually get shot for no reason, same with MO7, and MO19, yeah, they get targeted alot, thats why its best not to join a specialist division while the bulletproof vehicles still exist, i dont see no bulletproof ferarri irl going 100 mph down spur road
Well said, I couldn’t agree more.
Preach. Directly on point as per usual.
I, Sciable1, of no important title, do hereby declare my support for this suggestion.
The thing is, people complain about Civs having disadvantages etc agaisnt MET and RG. But this is completely false. Civs have always had the upper hand. But by this point, its ridiculous and now nearly impossible to effectively do anything.
Civilians have always had no restrictions or limits, minus moderation/ToS, they have access to a wide armoury of different Melee, and firearm weaponry, and don’t have to follow laws.
But the other teams all have rules they have to follow. RG can’t just go out and kill people whenever they want, without Moderation action being pursued, Armed Police/MO19 cannot go out and kill whoever they want either, they all have restrictions.
Aswell as like traffic, if any MET is giving pursuit, they still have to follow the Law, Civilians do not, which yes, is realistic, but due to the new updates, removes any chance of pursuit.
Back when the game started, weaponry on Civilian was a Novelty, but now people empty their wallets to buy Kriss Vectors and what not that MET/RG stand little to no chance to defend against, primarily due to the difference in weaponry, but also their own restrictions etc.
With the new vehicle update aswell, civs are spending all their money to make their Ferraris Invincible, they are fully bulletproof, with the only way to kill them by being able to stick your weapon through the window. However, when they have the max speed upgrade and are drifting around, there is no way to even do this. Stingers are having very little effect as the speed is far too great, and they just bug out. MO8 are barely able to give chase to these suspects as they just put their foot down and then they are never seen again.
MO7 can barely even respond to protests anymore, because whenever one starts up, loads of people with weapons just show up and kill everyone, it’s completely unfair on the rest of us.
It’s ruining the game, and more toxic people are becoming part of the community, or a becoming toxic.
Something needs to be changed.
Hyprox is completely right.
It’s time to actually start listening to what the game Needs, and not what makes you guys the most profit.
This could not be said any better by myself. I completely agree and think this feedback should actually be taken into account.
nice yung!!
Update is quite balanced, for the main part bulletproof civ cars, you guys have that glitch which you all use to cuff through them, and LS are not counting it as bug abuse, which it should be, as I do not think it was an intentional addition to the game. However, bulletproof cars do somehow make the game more difficult, but yet ARV’s/MO19 received buffs on their weapons.
I have to agree with Yung here.
I don’t think people realise that civilians actually have never had the upper hand and still don’t.
The bug intended feature that instantly ejects and cuffs you with no chance to counter is entirely reliant on network connection and can break the vehicle controller in certain instances (obviously you don’t notice this as you are ejected immediately, but it can happen), and I have seen several instances that causes unintended side effects which makes it all the more confusing how it is not a bug.
In terms of weaponry, civilian weapons are not as good as people claim them to be. For starters we actually have to pay for them and they are expensive. They have been nerfed constantly. For example the MP5 can kill in 2 headshots or 3-4 body shots depending on limb with a high rate of fire. The MP10 used to be able to kill 2-3 people per magazine but now can only kill 1 (or 2 if your network connection drops).
In terms of bulletproof Supercars, they are more common irl than people say they are. They actually provide stiffening to the vehicle and increase handling dynamics, with a small reduction to the vehicle speed. I understand it may not be so common in the UK, but they do exist, and if you have played the game long enough and can afford it, then it’s not unrealistic. The 530i is a capable vehicle, and the mustang is very (very) capable at pursuing. Not to mention the fact that MPS has access to a radio to co-ordinate stingers, additional units, checkpoints, road barrier closures, blockades and access to ANPR.
I believe in my own opinion that a lot of this frustration and confusion stems from the change of meta to the game, where civilians have finally gotten a buff (albeit small due to the bug intended feature which renders the vehicle useless). Give it some time, and players will adapt.
I completely agree with this, I just wish the developers actually took this into account and took action on what people suggest for the game.
