Give COs Sanction Powers back or Fix LS Regulations reguarding punishments

Hello. I am a Lieutenant for the Royal Military Police. Being part of the Commissioned Officer team and the Royal Military Police Team I can say with ease that everyone is tired of this.

We have requested this change time and time again and if something does happen it doesn’t always solve the problem. Even adding certain things to help us won’t completely solve the issue.

We still have the problem of Live Shield punishments being either too light or just not having a punishment for people because it’s not a moderation offence. What I mean by this is for people who are clearly here to troll and just run away from BP, us Officers and RMP cannot do anything.

We report it to Live Shield and they say it’s not disrupting gameplay. How do you think it looks when you join a game and see a bunch of RMP and COs running after recruits who just leave and rejoin every time they get caught.

It not only makes people not want to play this game, it makes us look bad as it seems like we can’t even handle a few misbehavior rg/mps/las. This puts shame on us as it makes the public think we can’t do our job. The one job we have we can’t fully do.

It is not fair and I think we all know this. Something needs to be done with this. Doesn’t matter if you give COs sanction powers back or include department regulations in game offences. We just need something done. We are all tired of chasing Royal Guards who leave BP, people who just leave and rejoin to avoid punishment, people who don’t listen to orders, people who just walk around the inside of Buckingham Palace/restricted areas, randomly start shooting, and so much more.

It’s not fair to keep us going like this. It is just annoying and makes us look bad. I understand that you would rather have Moderators do sanctions for safety reasons but I can think of 100 other ways of keeping sanctions safe while still giving COs that power.

This has my vote.

I, 247mrt, of no important title do hereby declare my support for this suggestion

This has my full support, I agree with this. The removal of sanctions for COs has made it a playground for trollers at times.

As a Lance Corporal of RMP, we need this, they say it doesn’t disrupt gameplay, it disrupts ours whilst we try to catch and detain these rogue individuals. Even once we catch they leave a rejoin and reset the cycle. Either give sanctions back to COs or make live shield actually do something about this issue.

This has my vote.

Basically made COs useless with this new system, JUST PUT THE OLD SYSTEM BACK WITH LIGHTER OFFENCES!!!

Note that they did this so that they can get a new player base that don’t face harsh sanctions. What new player base did they get? A large number of trollers.

As a newly instated Second Lieutenant of RG, TC, I have already run into SEVERAL cases of RG commit horrendous actions, I am not going to talk a lot on this because frankly, there have been no changes or updates on the matter of this situation.

RG’s constantly disregard us, even after being handcuffed or detained, and because of the fact we cannot sanction them, they just leave whenever they want and there is nothing we can do except make a ticket each time, this needs to be re instated if you really “want” to fix the RG’s abusing their guns and so on, it is not a lack of power, but merely their contempt to do the wrong thing, and the fact we, even as CO’s can’t keep them in check. Please allow us to sanction again, all new CO’s can be taught and coached accordingly, RG HQ can adapt, put trust in the Commissioned Officers is my point, we passed OCS for a reason.

Just for reference, I have gotten in game. The moment I get to Buckingham Palace, I see a Recruit going around stabbing people for no reason and leaving Buckingham Palace gates. It just makes the game less fun when your one Civilian.

I agree with this post, it’s hard dealing with RGs who run away when LiveShield doesn’t sanction for their behaviour.

I totally agree, without our ability to sanction people BP has gotten more chaotic. If we have COs sanction RGs/MET it would take the load off of LS. Officers have time to do this, while LS has a bunch of tickets open for things ranging from Moderation to purchase issues. 100% bring it back

Even I, irrelevant former Lieutenant HulksmashJaxon10, agree with this suggestion. Something needs to be done fast, even moderators themselves break the team rules. What are they going to do? Moderate themselves? Of course not!

It’s not just the moderators, it’s the problem with chief/commissioned officers not having power at all. There may be an event, trollers, or something else happening where they need to sanction someone quick, but they have to open a “priority” line (It takes three days) to get someone sanctioned. A normal report takes faster than that priority line.

As a former Lieutenant Colonel and former Moderator, I much preferred the old sanction system of CO’s being able to hand them out frankly it was faster and more effective at stopping trolling for many reasons as the handbook is mostly there for show at this point and plus it just was a pain dealing with trolls with the new system as they just knew they couldn’t get sanctioned so they would continue and continue regardless of how many times they are caught etc, frankly don’t play the game anymore due to the trolls and such so I would like the system reverted

As a Lieutenant in the Training Company, I fully agree. There are multiple different ways of ensuring that the sanctions are fair (better regulations, SPA/PSD/LASO oversight, better appeal process) but whatever this is aint working. Just yesterday I spent 2 hoars chasing the same Lance Corporal who was LTAAing and rejoining. It is not possible to play the game and focus on helping others when this is happening. I know what “fixes” the Development team has implemented but it needs different rules to efficiently work. Please fix this thx!

As a Royal Guard veteran that left partly due to this change, I agree heavily on this statement.

It is most likely not going to happen despite them saying back a while ago it was just a trial period to see how it goes
