Hello there, I am Captain Lucifer of the Life Guards and I have gathered quite a few responses from my Life Guards for stuff we would hopefully want to be added, I will list some now.
1: Horse Spawner.
This is pretty reasonable due to when we are at Horse Guards Parade Grounds we are constanly swapping between the different horse colours which can take up to a minute or 5 which really takes up our time and can cause a delay in trainings or ceremonial events, we would like a spawner such as the car spawner that MET or Civilians have that let them choose their car but instead it would be the different colours of horses, this would be handy for us.
2: Able to use swords on our horses.
This is also pretty reasonable due to if you just simply search up Life Guard anywhere you will see that they hold their Sabre on their horse which we should be allowed to do this in game because it makes us look more proffesional in game and it is realistic enough that it should be added, same could be said also about equipping our L85A2’s on our horses too.
3: Leading Horses By The Reins.
This should of already been a feature to start with, due to without it we are unable to do our ceremonial events properly such as the 4’oclock parade which if you search up a video of this you will see them dismount their horse and lead the horse back into the stables using the reins, so having this feature would greatly increase the realism for the game and for the Life Guards.
4: Life Guard Combative Duties.
Alright I know this one is very much always frowned upon but hear me out. Life Guards and every other divsion has members that go into combative uniforms in real life and not to mention about the Household Calvary Regiment getting the ajax which is a literal tank, we are not asking for a tank but it feels like we are bounded towards our ceremonial which should not be the case as IRL they get to do combative duties aswell, no idea if this will be listened to but we all want this.
5: More Accurate Uniforms.
This one I have got no clue why this has to be suggested but our uniforms are lacking so much detail in regards to what should be on there such as the Cuirasse which should already be a part of the Life Guard Uniform. I would also like to mention when a Life Guard CO wears their hat the logo is the Blues and Royals which it should actually be the Life Guard logo as we are seperate from the Blues and Royals, there is plenty more to say about the uniforms but that should be already known.
6: ChestPlates and a way for the horse’s to move backwards.
This will be the last idea I put down here but for ChestPlates we should already have these due to if you search up online or even go to London you can see that the Life Guards and Blues and Royals while mounted have a chestplate on themselves which we should be able to have one to make it more realistic and their should be an option to toggle and take it off inside the locker. For the ability to move horses backwards this is pretty self explanatory because they are horses made for a senior regiment so they should be able to move backwards such as if we were in house posts or just simply wanted to back away from someone, this should be added as spinning around on our horses to go backwards looks way too unproffesional and just not realistic at all.
