As it stands, it’s quite hard for RMP to do enforcement on Royal Guards in-game who cannot chat with us due to age group variations.
What I’m suggesting is the devs could either;
A: Change the preset messages RMP has to more relevant ones such as “Equip your bearskin”. This is to allow for better explanations/attempts at teaching.
Or B: Autogive RMP a sign so we can communicate via that to the Royal Guard.
This is much easier and doesn’t require tabbing out so RMP can maintain a eye on the palace. And additionally allows us to teach the rules, not just straight punish for not following them.
Edit: Due to popular demand, I also believe this should be for all individuals who require it such as COs in both RG/MPS & divisions which do require it the most.
I absolutely love this suggestion I would overall like to see something like this for all regiments something like “STEP BACK FROM THE QUEEN’S/KING’S LIFE GUARD!” and a similar version for Grenadier guards.

I do agree with giving us more relevant / a wider range of messages, but we aren’t really supposed to use signs to bypass the chat restrictions in general, so I don’t think we’ll get that
I absolutely agree with this, it can be quite difficult to guide someone when you can’t really chat with them, leading to them being detained or even arrested and may be clueless as to the reason. I think the quick chats could be a lot more unique towards the class you are on, as for example with MET, something you’d say on ARV is a lot different to that on response. Same applies with the various RG divisions we have here.

I 100% agree with the chats, it is very tiring to get a none chatting guard to put their bearskin back on, even spamming head gear on and off does always work. Some additional chat features would be nice. Even just “Please head to a Sentey box or Gate panel.” Would be nice.
I don’t think we will get signs as it does add a touch of none realism to the rmp team. However good suggestion, keep up the good work

Either one would be an incredible addition. I will say that the only preset message I use on RMP is the “stand back”, “do not enter”, or “follow me” ones. Would make it so much easier to have effective communication with others. Love the suggestion c:

Great idea but also, COs are facing the same issues with this chat restriction and I would love if this aldo could be added to MPS/RG COs
You’ve got my vote. I’d also like to add some sort of system where CO’s / RMP could potentially issue fines out to members of RG or restrict their money making ability from posting for a certain amount of time. It seems as though detaining them is becoming more ineffective at teaching them a lesson.
I’d love to hear people’s thoughts on this.

This is a good suggestion. We will look into perhaps an alternative panel where command members / RMP can issue instructions to their respective teams, separate to quick chat.
We do not plan on using signs as a form of mainstream communication within the game between all teams.
