RG team focused changes/updates

Hi there, I’m CSgt TBBNR_face from the Grenadier Guards, and I have some suggestions on what the RG side of the game could use (CG, LG, GG, RMP, SG, HG). This post is a mixture of previous suggestions from others plus some new ones; this is so they are all in one place. Please read this carefully:

Shortened version

  • Winter clothing (jackets)
  • Togglable bayonets on rifles
  • LG and GG radio tags (like RMP)
  • Smoke grenades, flash bangs for GG/RMP
  • Make GG Land Rover bulletproof
  • Grenadier Guards regiment badge on our berets
  • RMP and GG no.2 (formals)
  • Cones and some traffic tools for RMP
  • Torches and repair kit for support guard
  • L85A2 combat for support guards
  • Breastplate for LG/HG
  • Horse selections (like cars)
  • Carry sabres on horses
  • Better horse controls
  • Instruments for LG

Everyone (mostly because I couldn’t think of anything Coldstream could have that other divisions wouldn’t)

Winter clothing - Long coats for scarlets (GreatCoat)

Being able to put our bayonet on our rifle, toggle on/off, and have a stab animation, doing the same amount of damage as the bayonet does now obviously.

Divisions with combats/no.8’s

Divisions with combats to have a couple more of the things Trojans have; I have flash bangs and smoke grenades in mind.

Torches and a single repair kit for SG - The torch is more just giving something to support guards, while the repair kit feels like it can be part of their duties in the game. There are always quite a few vehicles inside BP (MET vehicles, CO vans, divisional vehicles), and the SG would be supporting us if they had a repair kit. But only they can buy it from our dealers.

Grenadier Guards

Bulletproof Land Rover - To make our Land Rover bulletproof, Trojans and RMP all have bulletproof vehicles. I’m not sure why we’re not being a combat-focused division now.

Grenadier Guards regiment badge on our berets; we currently have the Coldstream badge.

GG no.2 (formals) - GG could use some formals for when they do their own private events and trainings; its something I’ve heard them say a few times now.

Royal Military Police

RMP no.2 (same reason as GG)

Cones and some traffic tools (like Taskforce)

Life Guards/HG

Breastplate for LG/HG - They have been asking for this for as long as I can remember; I’m not sure why they haven’t got breastplates

Horse selections (like cars) - Currently you have to keep spawning the horse until you get the colour you desire; a simple update would be to convert this like the car spawner and be able to choose the colours. (Words of pwx)

Carry sabres on horses - I don’t have much to say about this, but I have seen this on multiple suggestion posts in both the posts and the comments of them.

Better horse controls - Horse control sucks if we’re being honest; they need to be better.

Instruments for LG - They’re our most ceremonial; why wouldn’t they have instruments? Drums, trumpets, etc., you name it. It would be great for their ceremonial events too, such as Trooping the Colour, etc. (Words of pwx)

So much thought put into this suggestion and I agree with every point. Great suggestions tb, it would be lovely to see stuff like this added into the game to o crease the quality of the game and role play.

Well said,

Having a form of formal dress other than Scarlets for GG is a good shout, you’ve condensed everything else as well. And the bulletproof cars is a very nice touch as GG are the combat division and are normally first responders to a large civilian attack.

I quite like this suggestion, makes it so we all can get something and makes even being a normal ColdStream more interesting which I think even being a Coldstream they should get some sort of update aswell, Hope these changes go through or even get considered at the most as It would be nice to see all this go through.

Very good. I also want to add that RG uniforms currently do need fixing (the red ones), RG auto sanction for RG trespassing outside the palace and RG CO authorization tool.

Yeah agreed playing a foot guard is quite boring without divisions or gamepass. Hope they make some interesting updates soon.

just yes, I want it so when a RG goes outside their is a system that recognises that and then auto sanctions them based on history would be quite nice, and for the love of god a CO Auth tool would be so handy so people know when they are CO auth’d like the tag colour could be different or something
