Remove the ability to cuff civilians through vehicles

Hello.

I’d like to address a disappointing mechanic from the game which has heavily impacted my gameplay and I’m guessing, other civilian’s gameplay as well.

From the recent updates, the game has been updated to where users can now upgrade or modify their vehicles to however they want it to be. However, users with handcuffs are able to cuff you while you’re inside a bulletproof vehicle.

I’ve invested for a bulletproof McLaren & I’ve upgraded it to make it so that I cannot get tased or shot while I am inside my car. And while that is very useful since it gives me cover and I cannot get tased, it really frustrates me that I am able to get cuffed through my own vehicle.

It’s not ‘bug abuse’ since apparently, LiveShield said that it is an advantage for MPS that they’re able to cuff civilians through cars & vq9o said that it is an intended game feature.

But on the serious note, I think to myself, what’s the point of modifying your civilian vehicle to be bulletproof if you could still be cuffed through it and arrested instantly?

A taser works for a non-bulletproof vehicle and the point of you tasing them is so that you could arrest them, but if it’s a bulletproof car. You could just get on top of the vehicle, hold your handcuffs & be able to cuff them out of the vehicle.

To clarify some stuff, I do agree in giving MPS the fair tools when dealing with an armored car & the fact that it can be challenging to arrest a civilian who’s in a bulletproof car, but there’s already an added eject button feature on the side of every user which you could use.

Ejecting a civilian through their car is nice, I find it beneficial for the MPS to use. But cuffing a civilian through their car? It’s ridiculous & unfair.

It’s just an unrealistic & frustrating disadvantage for the civilians, because when you’re trying to evade the police and not get arrested, you just end up getting cuffed through your own car which I think feels discouraging.

Take these clips as an example: https://imgur.com/a/8EydBRf

NOTE: These clips took place in a private server to give a demonstration in addressing this mechanic.

So in short, I am just really desperate for this feature to be removed since this just gives an unfair gameplay experience for the civilians.

Thank you and have a wonderful day!

Disregard, I somehow missed a whole paragraph :sob: I re-read again, odd that it is an intended feature.

Either way! I agree with you on this, there is really a lot of QoL that needs to be made to balance things out, so all teams have their equal pros and cons to make the gameplay more enjoyable.

Chat, you’re selling!!! :sob:

Yes its unrealistic, however I feel bulletproof supercars are already way too overpowered. Removing the one way you can realistically grab the driver without the vehicle being disabled is just going to make it even more so imo. There is no way you can eject someone from a working vehicle without them running you over, and many bulletproof supercars are now durable to the point that they can take a stinger hit, so disabling the vehicle is also incredibly difficult.

I think this might just be a glitch and isn’t supposed to happen

Okay. Just to make things clear.

I do believe that bulletproof civilian supercars are overpowered. However, it just seems unbalanced that you’re able to get cuffed before being able to do anything. You can’t escape, drive away or shoot the officer standing on your vehicle because you’ve already been cuffed.

It feels frustrating. Knowing that you paid for it & you’re not satisfied with it. You’ve paid for something you want to have which is a bulletproof vehicle but not getting the fair quality of the price you paid for is discouraging.

You’re willing to spend 100K for a bulletproof vehicle so it just doesn’t make sense why you’d get it in the first place if just like before you’d get tased through the vehicle and so, get arrested.

You can eject people through their vehicles, you just stand on top of the driver’s side and then use the eject button. You don’t go on the front part of the vehicle because you’ll get ran over. But throughout ejecting them out their vehicle, there’s a chance that you’d get run over in the process.

But it creates a balance, there’s plenty of advantages the MPS get compared to civilians & I personally think that it should be balanced to make teams of the game more fun.

Civilians should get the same amount of advantages the MPS has to make it equal.

No, it’s an intended game feature that vq9o confirmed.

I love arresting people like this and watching their anger take over . 10/10 ragebait method and if this gets removed I will be resorting to other ways of rage baiting

hi bilbobob7 @bilbobob7

Seems as though my special move has sparked some controversy, but no it shouldn’t be removed. Civilians having bulletproof cars that can go 200mph + whilst having guns that are crazy op already out ratios MET. So it is only fair.

OH- I WASN’T EXPECTING YOU TO BE HERE!! But no, in all seriousness. It’s just so irritating that you’ve spent a lot of money for one car which you could still get cuffed through it.

Well, is it fair? Yes, but it is an odd way of balancing things out. It would be better if other means of balancing, were made.

It only happens if you are lucky and it’s not that easy anyways to pick up an civ in cuffs from his seat while he is driving like 500 MPH.

When you eject people (if you’re lucky) they often get like 7 metres behind and starts shooting so you can not prepare in any way when ejecting that’s why using cuffs is much better and safer.

Its hard for the police to stand on a car going 500 MPH too
