Bug Report

Brief Description of Bug: this is a bug I think is in the programming-system of BP. I play Buckingham Palace on a iPad Pro with Magic Keyboard of Apple and also a mouse. The game registrates me as a PC-player, tho when I click my mouse, the jump- and movementbuttons show up. This is weird because the game says I am a PC-player. For this reason, I cannot make use of all offensive weapons, tasers and batons on the MPS team and all firearms in the whole game. With ‘Q’, aiming is possible, but I get stuck when I try to trigger the weapon to either shoot or (e.g.) try to stab someone with a knife. I will try to provide some screenshots to let you see how it looks.
ALSO: on PC left-mouse click is shooting and everything else which does not work, and right-mouse click is to change your direction while walking. Also this does not work. Whenever I walk and click my mouse, I stop walking. I can’t slowly change direction without stopping due to the system.
Steps to Reproduce: try to get to know where in the system the setting is that when someone logged in the game as a PC-player, then clicks mouse, the mobile-buttons show up. Also make it so that when I pressed ‘Q’ on click my mouse a bullet will be fired.
Gameplay Impact: High, as I can’t make use of ANY form of offensive weapon/taser and baton/firearm. Just became a Student Constable in MO8 and don’t know if I am able to even place down Incident Management.

Hi there,

The reason you are registering as a PC-player is because your setup is basically a laptop and therefore clicks are being detected as actual clips etc. It may help if you specifically change your Roblox settings (in the Esc menu in the top left) to change the input to “Keyboard + Mouse” which should help with the issues you are facing. It may be beneficial to change all of your settings in the Esc menu to fit a laptop-style setup to prevent mobile and PC conflict.

Please let me know if this issue can be resolved utilising the solutions I’ve stated above. I’ll continue to leave this open until you can get back to me (hopefully within a few days!).

I already have this setting turned on, it does not work unfortunately. I also think this can be resolved within the Volute game system?
