As many of you have, or may have faced the same shit as I have. Trainees… For long Trainee officers have been an absolute nightmare and the reason why people stop playing the game. What I am suggesting here is to revoke the right for Trainee Police Officers to deploy in the game before they have undergone officer qualification course and reached the rank of a Constable. This would safe so many people from the wrongdoings and plain stupidity that trainees spread within the game. They are known for cuff tapping you off your vehicles, random fining your ass off, failiure to speak even the most basic words, and of course arresting you and leaving the game after you are stuck in some random ass location where nobody is around to uncuff you.
Other solution would be to keep allowing Trainees to deploy as usual, but to give them tools with less powerful means. For example forbid them from giving fines as it is a pretty big issue within the game, and many people have complained about the issue.
Also I am proposing that all the officers would preferably have access to a voice chat, and be at least 13 years old.
Hello Guillistein. Let me re-word this a bit. Trainees can freely play as a Metropolitan Police Officer, but their ability to issue fines will be revoked due to many complaints about them abusing the specific tool.
Agree, but there are other ways we can combat that. There are more COs being recruited often who have a high presence in game and can deal with abusers on the fly.
Something I always liked the idea of was making the Handbook more accessible in game, maybe just a little button that can bring it up in game instead of having to go through Discord etc.
Like Guillistien said it would kill the game, however maybe the test should be more difficult. Another issue is that people don’t always report those that break the rules, therefore letting them get away with it and not being educated on what they’re doing wrong.
