Buckingham Palace has historically always supported a ‘Quick Chat’ feature in the form of the /e commands - notable examples being:

/e mw = “Make way for the Royal Guard”,
/e AP = “ARMED POLICE!”

etcetera..

In light of the recent chat changes made by Roblox, there has been high demand for this to be expanded, especially because these messages can be displayed to all players outside of the boundaries of age groups. We want to poll for ideas regarding specific quick chat phrases people would like to see.

Feel free to comment below using the following format:

Shortcut: /e (shortcut, such as AP, MW - must be recognisable, short and memorable)
Full Text: (the full text that will be shown in the chat bubble)
Purpose: (the purpose of the shortcut, who is meant to be use it, etc)

We want to try see commands that can be used a larger player group. Whilst we will accept ones that may be relevant to the likes of MO19, we will prioritise ones that have a larger impact.

Shortcut: /e csgas
Full Text: “Attention, attention, this is a police warning. Disperse immediately or CS Gas will be deployed.”
Purpose: Meant to be used before deploying CS Gas, only usable by TSG.

/gun: please take your gun out
/march: Please enter march mode, you can do this by pressing V

MPS Quick Chats:

Traffic Stops:
/tsgreet : Hello, do you know why I have pulled you over today?
/tsexpl : You broke the following traffic laws [Users would then use charges quick chat to read them out]
/tsdis : You may now go on with your day.
/tsso : Step out the vehicle please

Charges:
/charge[charge abbreviation] : reads a charge
This could be DD - Dangerous Driving, PUF - Possession of Unlicensed firearm, AA - Aiding and Abetting

General Phrases:
/stop : Stop!
/s[State code number] : says a state code (could be useful for radio)

All of these would only be accessible to MPS, I think this would greatly enhance roleplay experience. As someone who plays BP a lot especially on the MPS team I definitely think this would be a massive help to MPS.

MPS General Quick Chats:

Charges and General Phrases should also be accessible by RMP.
Also statecodes that can contain a location (s0, s2, s3, s5, s6) and for pursuit locations (/tw towards, /on ) maybe an extra location system with a large preset of valid locations (so you cannot put anything in there) This should be all Streetnames written out, aswell as all main locations (BP, WB, NSY, DS) and their abbreviations.

If possible make it that you can send /e commands in team if teamchat is active. Currently if I do /team and then write /e smth then it gets displayed for all users. Idk if it is technically possible, as the team identificator might not get sent to the server when using /e, but if it is possible then please implement it.

Grenadier and Life Guard Quick Chats

(Anything with GG minus the deployment messages can be replaced with LG for the Life Guards respectively)
/e GGMW “MAKE WAY FOR THE GRENADIER GUARDS” easier than tying it, or replacing the Royal Guard part of the /e MW quick chat.

Another good one for GG is our deployment and un-deployment messages respectfully.
/e GGDP “The Grenadier Guards due to constant threats and increase of violent crime. A follow up message will be made once we are undeployed.”
/e GGUDP “The Grenadier Guards are un-deploying as we have successfully resecured the area. Thank you for everyone who assisted us.
/e GGSB/SB “Step back from the Grenadier/Royal Guards!”
/e GGDR “Do not Disrupt the duties of the Grenadier Guards”

I dont want to mention things that have already been mentioned but all of these are good ideas of all the teams that everyone has listed

I definitely think that things like ROE, handbooks, standing orders(Rg) charges, fines, etcetera to be a good addition to the game.

Specifically all those in charge of policing (be that rmp or met HQ) having access to commands mentioned like /tools saying do not misuse your tools etcetera or things like

/charge (DD FTS Etc) to list charges (perhaps even being able to expand it for an FPN variation or ARrest, or two seperate commands eg

/s1 > /fpn > /charge dwdc : this would end up with the standard search code, “i will now be issuing you with a Fixed Penalty Notice for the following:” “charges Driving without Due Care”

This is a fantastic idea and allows everyone to know what theyre being charged for even if they cant see our chats.

things like /post /arrest /charges /abuse(or misuse) /so7 (standing order 7 - headgear) or /[team]handbook to refer to the handbook of the team stuff like that all good ideas

Divisional based commands like the GG related stuff etcetera is also an idea i like, we can even expand this to all rg teams

/e GGMW /e LGMW /e RMPMW stuff like that (last one could be for when RMP are trying to intercept someone through a crowd stuff like that. all fantastic ideas

I think the main issue with the chat limits is that there is times where your gonna pull someone over and they cant see your chats, or they expect information on their charge, or they expect orders or requests by rmp etctera, or just nice things as there being divisional things just to make life easier and keep everything communication based, which is nice to have.

Conclusion of (my) favourite commands listed from other replies:

  • GGMW LGMW MPMW - Make way for the (Grenadier Guards/Life Guards/Military Police)!
  • CS - Attention, attention, this is a police warning. Disperse immediately or CS Gas will be deployed
  • POST EBP LBP FW SO7 TOOLS UD - Please head to a valid posting, refrain from entering bp, refrain from leaving bp, final warning, standing order 7 - headress, do not misuse your tools, refrain from firing your weapon without reason
  • /FPN - I will now be issuing you with the following Fixed Penalty Notice:
  • /Arrest - I will now be arresting you for the following charges
  • /Charge (charge abbreviation) - (Lists out each charge from the charge sheet) - this may be usable all in one message or individually

I also like the ideas of pursuit commands but i think additions may be useful (for Mo19 or mo8)

  • /TCP - Tactical Contact for pursuit is authed
  • /PCA - pursuit continuation is authed
  • /wd - withdrawing
  • /gw - give way to ADUs
  • /TCSA - tactical contact selth authorised
