Frequent Suggestions & Responses

Fix Lag

We recognise that when we originally created Buckingham Palace, performance was not a major consideration for lower-end devices. As a result, we are catching up with this and are actively making optimisation updates. In every major update we push, there is at least one optimisation change made, whether the update log mentions it or not. This is a slow process and is very demanding on us as developers, and we appreciate players’ patience whilst we make the game more accessible on lower-end devices.

Return sanctioning power to COs

The ability for command members to issue sanctions directly is a thing of the past and was frequently used to provide disproportionate sanctions against users who were otherwise new or simply did not understand the handbooks which were unreasonably long and convoluted.

LiveShield Moderation does it’s best to sanction players that are actively harming player experience. This includes abuse of tools/role (cuff abuse, random arrest, false fixed penalty notices, misuse of firearms). We do our best to add alternative means ingame of soft-punishing players who may break certain regulations (such as guards going absent without leave outside of palace grounds, by damaging their character over time).

We have no plans at the moment to return sanctioning power to command members except for the Priority Report Line which exists currently. If any reasonable concerns are raised where an infraction is not sanctionable by LiveShield when it should be, this can be raised separately - but we will not return sanctioning powers to command members. We continuously re-review this decision with every major update to see how the new update could be abused and apply mitigations/new rules where necessary.
