At the moment, due to robloxs new chat feature it’s hard to communicate, whether we are setting BOLOs out, traffic stops and just general policing. A feature could be implemented to the police team on their phones called the BOLO app. The BOLO app would show a layout like this. Addinf this feature would make it easier to spot of criminals and make it a bit fair for everyone. The feature would be limited to Chief Superintendints to prevent abuse.
Nice suggestion, however limiting to the highest point rank in the game is a bit absurd. Needing at LEAST 700 hours (without purchasing points) is quite extreme in my opinion, just limit it to qualified Constables. I do agree with the rest, the purple app for Specialists is useful but has a text limit (usually can’t fit all charges) and people only really pick it up on ANPR. A nice addition overall with looser restrictions.

I would say that it’s a good concept. But, like Sharp said, I think that limiting it to solely Chief Superintendent’s is a poor idea. If MPS or RG/LAS specialists abuse the system it could easily be moderated by LiveShield, their respective division HQ, or CO’s/Managers.
We have this in a sense but it is specialist-restricted. You’ll be able to look at and review BOLOs, but not set them. Refer to the purple app with the circle and a bracket-shape over top.
Istg why is everything specialist restricted. This would help players actually be able to play the game. The game is going to lose players if things are not done to get around these communication restrictions. It seems silly to just restrict that to specialists. There are people abusing guns. Using that logic, why don’t you just remove guns and restrict them to specialists if they can be abused.
Implementing a BOLO system is hardly going to cause as much of an issue compared to the other tools use to cause abuse in the game. You have to accept that there will be abuse in the game. That’s why there are mods and systems to mitigate abuse. Restricting features to specialists will take away from the gameplay experience of non specialists, turning people away from the game. It seems like specialists are getting way more added then general met due to there being a “possibility for abuse” for everything istg. If you can’t accept the possibility of abuse just take away all the weapons at that point.

The reason why things like this are restricted to specialist and in my opinion not change, is because they are held to a higher standard and have more to lose, if someone sets a BOLO for the wrong charges and then doesn’t even delete it how is that fair on the person that is being potentially arrested for this bolo, it also puts the arresting officer at a lot of risk. Features that could be abused should be restricted to specialist as if they are action will be taken
