MO7 Needs More!

As a constable in mo7, ive experienced the difference that mo7 gets apart from mo8 and mo19. mo7 misses so many things, we see mo19 and mo8 with both stingers, and mo8 now gets NPAS and we dont.

MO7 should get 75% armour to give us a fair advantage when patrolling, because there is not much to do at the moment. Especially TSG should get armour as you can see some of them using armour irl due to high risk.

We have VCTF which is named violent crime taskforce, However we disperse when there is a violent crime happening involving firearms. Which makes us weak, however you see mo8 still going for the suspects which is weird.

TSG needs IM for protest because each time we do a protest and we got no IM set up, there are people driving in to the crowd with bulletproof cars so we cant tase them, nor do we have stingers to use them to apprehend the suspect. This is dangerous and makes it not fun for any of us during a protest, because all we can do is use our shield and run away and hide while the shield isnt even 100% bulletproof because of lag.

Lots of people has been asking for blue tickets, which we should get as TSG, and VCTF and MUB, this is for safety and we cant really do much to pava people holding a protest sign since we dont have afo qual. We know its been brought uop and people say it will maybe come, but has it? No, thats why we need a change to save the division!

Overall; We should get a sidearm, a glock21, 75% armour, stingers for both protests and pursuits, IM for protests, and a new unit.

THIS NEW UNIT IS SOMETHING THAT CHATGPT SUGGESTED!

  • A cool unit which will utilise the new ipads in to the game, tracking down suspects and placing markers on the map to where the civs are and how many there is.

:compass: 5. Rapid Mapping & Drone Unit (RMDU)

Concept:
A mobile survey and mapping unit — maps crime scenes, protests, or traffic collisions with drones and 3D scanners.

Inspiration:
Real-world forensic mapping & drone teams, but adapted for gameplay.

Gameplay Loop:

  • Deploys drones to scan areas and create live minimap overlays.
  • Can “ping” suspects or mark hazards for other officers.
  • Integrates with your ANPR / plate systems for location intelligence.

New Vehicle Type:

  • Small SUV or hatchback with drone storage box and rooftop sensors.
  • Animated drone launch sequence.

Uniform/Look:

  • Blue polo with MO7 logo and “Drone Ops” marking.
  • Drone controller and utility vest.

I totally agree.

I agree that MO7 needs more, as I feel like they don’t have that much as other MPS Specialists, in my opinion.

I disagree with MO7 having access to regular IM (Cones, signs, etc). Instead, I think it would be better if they got some kind of barriers to close the area of protest.

Yes that would work too! But means more stuff for devs to make.

Also give permission for TSG to open bollards at BP.

Yes that would make a good change!

Whats the armor % ppl are talking abt what does it do?

TSG’s primary role is to respond to a public order incident. Not an armed incident. Even in real life, TSG is not equipped with sidearms (except for a few “experemential” cases). Firearms could be potentially good for VCTF, but clearly not for TSG. Same goes for MUB by the way, it’s a public engagement unit, and realisitcally people would be more scaried to approach an armed officer.

And talking about IM, it is a good point where MO7 and MO8 can cooperate between each other, which improves experiences for both parties. TSG could get the metal barrier fence (which exists in the game), but anything else would be too much. You can (and should) always use your van to protect yourselves as well as the crowd from getting hit

Well if yall want a harder academy and stuff then sure, MO19 and MO8s academy is harder because of the stingers and do not forget that MO7 are response police so they do not carry guns and they will never do. If you want IM you should call MO8 or a MPS CO because giving MO7 IM will just take away the meaning of MO8. I kinda agree with more armour but only for MO7 with TSG clothing. MO8 can be requested to chase down armed drivers by MO19 if MO19 are following. Remember that MO7 are response police they are not meant to have stuff that MO8 and MO19 got.

Atleast give us barricades to block off the road.

1: MO7 cannot get the Incident Management qualification due to IM only working and being accessible on the Met Operations 8 Class.

2: I believe and totally agree with some upgraded and higher armour levels. This will ensure we can actually do what is in the name VCTF ( Violent Crime and TaskForce ).

3: Blue tickets should and need to be available for MO7. Now not the proper Blue Tickets but something somewhat being similar so we can utilise our PAVA and Tasers while attempting to disperse or control a CODE 2 or CODE 1 protest.
If we cannot use PAVA and Tasers, we cannot complete our proper Public Order duties of maintaining peace in the community & controlling protests or riots.

4: The new unit seems very cool! I am thinking something going around our current Covert Policing Subclass. This would be something like VCTF but using their special Coverting things. ( Similar to Intercept & Surge Team with their IST and IST Covert subclasses & Tactical Support Team with TST & TST Covert subclasses. )

MO19 get stingers because they are the only division who can pursue armed suspects. MO8 get stingers because they are the main traffic policing division.

Neither MO7/8 should be involved in armed situations so dispersing when there is a violent crime happening involving firearms is the correct thing to do. MO7 isn’t trained to handle armed situations so equipping them to handle them doesn’t really make sense.

you may forget however, MO8 is RTPC, Roads traffic policing, aka, Advanced Response Police. Sure, VCTF might also be a response police style class, but we get no perks, we cant use TPAC or any other form of tactical pursuit tactics, we are basically just response police, in a black uniform, and a massive target for OCG’s, as they all know we cannot run towards danger, leading them to want to target us more.

Right, however, every single unit in the mps has stingers. We are vctf, even response police have them, which then would be fair to also give us them.

Since when do response get stingers?

No clue sir.

MO7 does seem to be underloved, but some things you suggested don’t make sense or could be done another way.

This could just have a change allowing MO7, or TSG specifically, to PAVA anyone on the civilian team (although, not sure why we are using PAVA on people holding protest signs if they do not present a threat to you).

Giving more police units guns will just add further to the TDM dynamic the game currently has.

Guns should really be harder to get, whether you dealers spawn with them less often, prices are higher or you need to do more to get them, etc.

I disagree with the majority of this, excluding being able to use specific incident management tools relevant to public order, i.e. barriers, within reason. Why do you need stingers? You are not a roads unit or advanced drivers, pursuits aren’t MO7s task. Not sure if you plan on using stingers against the protesters feet, but I’d hope not.

Shield isn’t bulletproof in real life either. It is used for public order, so glass, bricks, etc, do not hit the people behind them.

I think the majority of issues with this come down to the “excessive” amount of units for a Roblox game. They all begin to cross-over with one another and clash, usually leaving one or more feeling “unloved”.
