MO19 Balancing Changes

I believe that the MO19 team is currently disadvantaged to the point that officers are playing on ARV for a better vehicle and weapon. I propose two ideas that can help us have a fighting chance against civilians.

A) Adding more rappel points

For example, at the moment, we are forced to walk across the entire rooftop to handle shooters from Downing Street. This makes us extremely vulnerable to civilians weapons, making it nearly impossible to get to the other side of DS without being killed.

Adding rappel points to more locations ( such as DS, Other parts of BP roof, would give TST officers more entry tactics and reduce the time spent exposed in areas with no cover.

B) Adding better performing vehicles to the team

The current B550 Interceptor cannot keep up with half of the civilian vehicles, which allows criminals to escape easily during pursuits.

For example, adding a faster vehicle, such as the MO19 Volvo that has already been shown by developers, along with an unmarked version for TST, would improve response times and also provides us the ability to keep up with fleeing vehicles. Additionally, the new covert audi can be made bulletproof so that it is usable on the TST subclass.

nice suggestion

I think returning back to just being the CTSFO (called “Trojan”, which makes no sense as MO19 generally is known as “Trojan”) would be much better.

In real life, MO19 is mainly split into two branches:

  • Armed Response Vehicle Officers
  • Counter Terrorism Specialist Firearms Officers

The former is already catered to with the ARV gamepass, so it doesn’t make sense to have a serious division of the exact same thing, but the serious division seems to be worse off in some cases (worse cars, for example).

Also, due to the large amount of ARV gamepass players (and Close Protection), it isn’t like the game lacks enough combat-orientated players, so rolling with a more elite but smaller unit of CTSFO would work much better, and allow them to have all the gucci kit that CTSFO does roll around with in real life.

CTSFO could then have more specific roles/qualifications internally, like snipers, rapid entry, MED19 (which does currently exist), which can set the division out more.

Also, a lot more vehicles used by CTSFO, like the various covert vans they use.

Very good suggestion unit, thank you for taking the time to prompt ideas in a respectful manner

or yall can just disband mo19, probably the better option

I like this suggestion for mo19.

tbh there should be a specialized unit where there will be a really fast to intercept mclarens and other like in real highway patrols

You can solve both of these problems easily.

A) Instead of adding more rappel points you can just ask ur MO19 friends to join and do a so called smoke chain, you need like 2-3 MO19 for that it’s not that hard. Not to mention that TST got snipers for a reason!

B) ask more MO19 friends to join and use more tactics like using your stinger which is really useful in pursuits.

I can unfortunately only partially agree with this suggestion. MO19 has more than just a chance when fighting civilians. Civilians already have a disadvantage. To be fair though, the MP10 is pretty much the only gun that can be considered equal to the SIG MCX. I understand that it becomes more challenging when fighting multiple civilians at once, but that is where you need to utilize your equipment and car to give yourself an advantage.

I completely agree that the usage of ARV is an issue, because AFO officers shouldn’t have an advantage when playing on ARV instead of MO19. However, this is mainly because of the car and weapon they get on ARV, since ARV actually has less armor than MO19. Adding rappel points would be nice, but that would likely be exclusive to TST only. Since TST already has a strong advantage when covering MO19 officers with their snipers - being able to pin down DS shooters while MO19 pushes - I think the DS roof will be raided much less often.

That being said, I do think MO19 should get better cars, especially since the game has shifted in a direction where it is almost impossible to keep up with most civilian cars. This is particularly noticeable with the Audi, where you also bug off the car when trying to eject the driver from the top being hit by the car itself even though you’re standing on it.

Overall, I do think MO19 should receive better vehicles. However, when it comes to pure gun combat, MO19 still has a massive advantage due to their better weapons and armor. But in no way is MO19 at disadvantage except for their cars, which however can also be upgraded.
