My suggestion primarily consists of 3 parts: Stats, Crimes and Bolos.
IVMA: In-Vehicle Mobile Application (currently no avaliable up to date images but older versions are avaliable)
MDT: Mobile Data Terminal
Firstly, I feel as though a vehicle mounted MTD or IVMA system would be the perfect unique way to show stats such as K/D ratios, previous offenses, time in jail, time in game and multiple other statistics in a visually pleasing and true to life (to an extent) way.
Crimes, the MDT would let MET officers view past crimes and WMs (wanted or missing), this would make it a lot easier to do policing as running a plate may show it stolen but being able to run a plate and find if the person has been seen speeding etc would enhance the policing expericing a lot.
BOLO (Be on the lookout for) is the way that the MET team currently will mark someone as carrying out an offence, however with the radio it is washed away in endless traffic meaning that it’s extremely difficult to link a BOLO to someone for any significant period of time. With the MDT officers could find a name (using prebuilt dropdown menus) and issue a BOLO for a crime with a description. That’s then linked to the person until they have: Been booked, died or the BOLO is marked as completed by the officer who issued it. This further prevents BOLOs from holding after a death or arrest to avoid confusion and reports regarding it.
Extras:
MDT would link perfectly to vehicle mounted ANPR (Automatic Number Plate Recognition) and stationary ANPR cameras to enhance persuits, searches and other roleplay scenarios regarinding vehicles.
MDT would allow officers to mark themselves as State 1, 2, 5, 6, 9 and so on. This would allow COs or (possibly) even a new role of MET HQ to view officers locations in real time. It would also provide crucial information for officers responding to a scene or Close protection attempting to find a monarch.
