My credentials for this post are that I’m the LtCol of the Life Guards. This is a mass suggestion post, with suggestions compiled from a form I released within the Regiment. Every suggestion here is incredibly reasonable in my opinion, and I’m very open to talk with anyone to make negotiations if not. Images are attached. Here we go:
1. Cuirass Fixes - this will be split into several parts.
LG is very very grateful for our cuirasses. However, there’s several issues with them.
a. They need to be toggleable/removable; the Life Guards only utilise a cuirass while mounted. Hence, they should be toggleable, for our dismounted troops to be able to remove them. (Fig. 1)
b. Currently, they hide our medals. I don’t find this to be fair to the Life Guards that have rightfully earned their medals, just for them to be hidden by the cuirass. They should be moved to sit on top of the cuirass.
c. Adding on, the cuirass is… very clunky. Maybe it can be fitted to the Roblox character a bit better?
2. Uniform Updates - this will be split into several parts.
I have a lot of thoughts about this.
a. We should have the “white gloves” on our uniform. This is already an equippable item on the MPS ceremonials, developers would have to add nothing new to the game, so it’s an incredibly simple change that makes our uniforms a lot more realistic. (Fig. 2)
b. Less easy, you’ll notice Life Guards have white trousers with black boots. This would probably not look very good in-game, but it’s worth a shot.
c. Life Guards utilise aiguillettes in several ways within our ranks. NCOs have aiguillettes on the right, while Officers have them on the left. This would be an incredible feature (although wouldn’t work with the cuirass, again, leads back to my 1st point) for realism. (Fig. 3)
d. In real life, trumpeteers of the Life Guards have red plumes, like the ones Blues & Royals have. This can be implemented easily as an item within “Headgear” in the lockers. With newly added bugles, we now have a band, where this can be used. (Fig. 4)
e. It would be cool for the Life Guards to have “No. 1s”, which is basically our formals - this is used during events, including the Punishment Parade. (Fig. 5)
3. Horses - this will be split into several parts.
a. Please, please, please make it so we can lock our horses while sitting on it. It is SO annoying to get run over at 100mph, go flying 15 studs away from our horse, and it gets stolen while we’re dead or incapacitated.
b. Make it so we can grab our horses by the reigns. You will constantly see LG do this during the Punishment Parade. It will greatly add to our realism and ceremonies. MAKE THIS LOCKABLE IF IMPLEMENTED.
c. Employ some kind of fix where the horses do not move by eating the concrete when you’re sat on them or when you’re dismounted. It makes you get vastly out of position, and most of the time you have to do a full circle just to fix yourself, which ties into D.
d. Make us able to reverse on horses. It is not practical to do a circle every time we need to back up even slightly.
e. Better horse speed system - make preset speeds (slow trot, trot, gallop, etc) so all horses can sync up. The current system makes it very difficult for everyone to go the exact same speed during parades.

4. This could be added for every division - a panic button. Sometimes we get attacked, and we need urgent assistance, so like MPS has, I believe LG would benefit from a panic button. Again, I also think GG and RMP could get this as well, it’s useful for every regiment.
