A lot of players are currently frustrated with the current balance of the game, especially things like armor and newer mechanics that have changed how the game feels. Because of this, we’d like to suggest running one (or more) temporary legacy server(s) using the CU4 (Content Update 4) setup.
The idea would be to keep the CU4 map and weapon balance, without armor, moving vendors, or other newer systems. Basically, a throwback server that lets players experience the older gameplay again.
This server could run for 1–2 weeks, starting around New Year’s, just to see how it performs. It would be a good way to test player interest, gather feedback, and see whether the older balance is something people still enjoy compared to the current version.
I aggree with this strongly as often the updates can be a big change sometimes not for the best and this is why I strongly like this and would love to see this feature added in game!! Also as players could want to experience the old style of the game and how it used to be.
100% this would help the developers also potentially be able to figure out what people want in the game as not everyone wants to roleplay some of us play this game so do the civs vs met or rg
I would have never started playing this game if it was just to roleplay
I agree with this, there’s many people that quit the game due to recent updates, but if this gets added they can return and play on these servers. And also something that was said from someone else, this would give the developers figure out what the people want to change, remove, or add.
Although there could be a few issues with this, such as the ARD division being added recently.
