Armour piercing ammunition is simply pointless. No civilian has the choice to wear actual body armour. Also, the current arsenal of weapons don’t even have anything realistic about the actual operation ie cartridges aren’t spent out the ejection port when fired, the weapons don’t have realistic muzzle flash, rather one giant fireball coming out of the barrel, and it’s all for MO19, so why would anybody want this?
As for civilians bulletproof cars getting shot through by armour piercing ammunition, there is no point. It’s just another gimmick for MO19 to have fun with.
Who cares this is a game. Its balanced now. You can easily adapt to this. We had alot of nerfs and we adapted aswell. This is the only time you guys get nerfed abit and ur immediality making posts😂

Maybe this can be done in the form of having .50 BMG (for example) anti material rifles which will solely be restricted behind a qualification much more restricted than TST and etc to not allow random people to get it so much and keep it’s usage limited only to proper critical incidents designated by Command/Supervising officers.
To the people who argue as such, the game is overall extremely unrealistic, this suggestion only comes in as one to allow us to cope better and allow for an enjoyable experience on our side too. Our policies being as such that we have to act in a particular manner particularly pay to the downside. If we simply want to cope we can quite literally shoot any civilian we want designated as a threat (usually how critical shot works in real life!) but that’s not being observed here. This only comes as a solution and something to give us a work around. Another workaround can be to make all bullet proof cars to be shot through at some point (5 7.62mm rounds can easily pierce through the level of armour BP cars have, some 2 magazines worth of rounds for 5.56 “GREEN TIP” for it to pierce) can also be put forth.

Neither a green tip nor a 7.62mm bullet will pierce through. No one carries a Barrett with .50 BMG.
That’s great but it’s also non-realistic that 90% of civs are armed with firearm if we are talking about UK.

BP armour rating isn’t like the Beast for US President’s, it is a basic armour glass plate - most rifle calibers will pierce after certain amount of shots.
All SWAT teams have .50 cal present in their armouries and is the same case for UK - MO19 officers behave as SWAT team operatives as well so hence why either of the 2 suggestions I mentioned can be implemented.
Honestly, all MPS is crying here because we have vehicles like yours.
But you’re the one pointing that out, nobody was really complaining, just making suggestions - isn’t that right? If it wasn’t for the MET, you’d have absolutely nothing to do. It’s normal that we would like to have an advantage over criminals, realistically MET combats crime with ease, but here you have civilians armed with 6 rifles and 3 pistols, roaming around and ramming everything they see with armored ferraris that go over 200 MPH. Who really needs an update you all have been asking for?

To be fair, an organised crime group that possesses multiple high caliber firearms should face no difficulty importing bulletproofed vehicles from other countries.
I would encourage you to name said OCG that operates in london and has like a 90% recruitment rate from the general population

It depends how thick this armour is. You can get 5.56 armour piercing rounds as well as armour piercing 7.62 and 12.4mm rounds.

give MO19 RPG is better
