Alrighty so, I think this has been addressed more then I can count and simply this shouldn’t have to be posted about this much for it to be considered for an update, The Life Guards were added for a reason definitely so if the devs went through the effort of making the Life Guards, why not update us to keep the Regiment fresh and fun for the members, I think its just lack of interest within a Regiment that actually is sticking to the Ceremonial roots of this game.
I have collected over 11 past posts for the Life Guards and will compile them here for a one big final post here for the Life Guards and what we really want for an update, you are free to state your opinions below this and I will respond in due to time to your comments.
1: Uniform Changes: This one is pretty common to see on any post, our uniforms are lacking in quite some detail and we have more uniforms then our basic dress that you see us around in game, for instance the LG CO Cap is not even a LG cap, it is literally the Blues and Royals Cap slapped onto the CO team for Life Guards which is quite an insult as it shouldn’t be that hard to swap the Logo around on a literal cap, plenty of creators of uniforms have shown its not that hard, Life Guards also should have the white pants while dismounted and etc which shouldn’t be that hard to implement for a team of devs surely and there is plenty more Uniform changes we could have
2: The Farrier Subclass: The Farriers are a literal piece of history within The Life Guards and yes their background is mostly medical and putting an end to injured horses but the reason why I suggest it here is for their ceremonial side such as their distinctive Black Plumes on their helmets and the most prominent feature is the Ceremonial Axe which as stated on different posts would be really cool for events and just simply its something new to enjoy for us.
3: Instruments for the Life Guards: The Mounted Band of the Household Calvary is an actual thing if you do just a bit of research you will see that it is very reasonable that we should get some instruments and there is already unused Bugles and Ukuleles in the game so why not just add some sound to them and then link them to the Life Guards Class shouldn’t be too much of a job to do and frankly this would spark fresh interest into the Regiment as Music is not in any of the Regiments/Divisions in game so this would drag some much needed attention towards the Life Guards.
4: Better Horse Controls: Now this one is such a desperate one we want fixed, these horses control so bad and even attempting to use these in a nice way in a parade is such as a pain as either they are that laggy it just shoots off in one direction or their constant animation they do when stationary messes up how neat it looks and then we have to do a 360 just to get back to position, so we are asking for better controls for the horses and a way for horses to literally reverse as doing a 360 to get a horse back into a spot is rather annoying and looks pretty bad.
5: Life Guard Support Guard: Now if you do any sort of watching on Youtube you will see Guards in No.8’s going around to check on either Blues and Royals or The Life Guards which these are literally Support Guards but for the Life Guards, so why carnt these be added all you need to do is change the logo on the beret and add it as a subclass for the Life Guards, we already have regulations for Support Guards written down so now we just need the Support Guard uniform to be added to the Life Guards.
6: Another thing I would love to see added is our chestplates finally, I was personally told the Devs do own the chestplates for the Life Guards so why not just make them a bit nice it doesn’t have to be perfect and then give them us, we will be happy with it and another thing I would appreciate is the White Gloves as that is also a vital part of the uniform for the Life Guards and looks really nice.
If you really want to see how many times we have asked for an update just do a quick search for “Life Guard Update” in that search bar and plenty of results will come up, its frankly sad how far back us asking for updates go and it probably goes further back then this so please we just are asking for an update so we can stop being so bored, we put our hearts into Ceremonial Duties so an update is all we request so we can be satified and will stop constantly bothering for it.
