Community Engagement Team

Hello!

We should make a community engagement team. What would they do? The community engagement is responsible for planning, staffing, and hosting major events. The team would help members of the community engage with others more and help the game strive at a higher and more efficient level. This team would host the trooping of the colour, state visits, and changing of the guard. This team would have high expectations and well placed standards. This staff would be an applied for team and would help make Buckingham Palace more fun by hosting racing events, hide & seek, and tag. The community engagement team could be the future of Buckingham Palace.

Not been many events hosted lately but what you’ve described is what COs do.

I agree with @bilbobob7 . That stuff is pretty much handled by CO’s.

And how many events so people attend hosted by COs? CET would have the whole community not just the qualified people.

As he said, this hasn’t been done lately so we need a team dedicated to it that will actually bring community together and keep Buckingham Palace active.

I still think that COs should be in charge. Events with non-qualified personnel are always a mess.

Then if the misbehave, the get kicked by our events staff.

There is just no point in this. Developers already host events sometimes, and COs do the majority of team-related events (and sometimes joint events). There’s just no reason to have community hosts.

  • What would they do?
  • How would they organize it?
  • How would they handle events?
  • WHY are they needed?

There is, do you see much events on-going that the whole community engages with & enjoys?

When was the last time developers hosted an event? That was about 2-3 months ago. CET would do this constantly about everyday. We are one of the only games without a Community Engagement Team.

We are in fact NOT the only game without a “Community Engagement Team”. And really, it’s not needed.

The game does not need a Community Engagement Team, frankly these CET people would have to learn events which actually make sense to host such as the Trooping of the Colour and such which CO’s are trained to host these sort of events, so moving that onto non CO’s just doesn’t make sense, frankly keep the event hosting to the CO team and the developers because it seems to be working just fine plus the reason events aren’t so often is because people have a life outside of the game so CO’s carn’t be hosting weekly or such.
