CCT is a specialist division of LAS, as everyone is aware. Because of its unique advantages, which include helicopters and access to restricted areas, it is incredibly effective at rapid response. We do, however, require more than what is currently given, and we are not all that different from standard LAS. In order to offer suggestions, Myself and some additional CCT members have presented the following list of ideas:
1. New Vehicle
Currently, CCT is given access to the Valguard XR200 CCT, Regular Valguard XR200, Miratsu, Mercurio Ambulance. London’s Air Ambulance, a real life counterpart of CCT also have a Skoda as their rapid response vehicle, the Skoda vehicle is already in the game, for MPS, all it needs is a little paint job and that’s a new, faster, less bulky and efficient vehicle for the CCT division, and quite frankly, if the Skoda was added, the Valguard would be abandoned, so adding a restriction such as minimum 2 in the Skoda would effectively balance the vehicles.
2. Uniform.
a) Firstly, CCT irl have the Same uniform as in the game currently, but with long sleeves not short sleeves, adding a toggle for the users preference of long sleeve/short sleeve would be SO ideal.
b) Adding proper ranks on the back, as of now, CCT members have the wording “Paramedic” On their back, or “Pilot” if got access to heli. This Simply is not recognising ranks, as some have worked hard for their ranks, so for example a Doctor shouldn’t really be wearing “Paramedic” on their back. And it should align with all ranks, not just Doctor.
3. Supply accessibility
a) If your a CCT member or even LAS, you know how frustrating it is when carpooling and not being the driver, you only have have 2 of each supply, and within minutes the equipment in inventory is gone, yet the driver who has access to the rear supplies rarely does the reviving as they focus on driving/parking/safe-blocking. It is honestly necessary that the rear boot supplies is accessible to all CCT and not just the driver, saves so much hastle.
b) Another work around with this is a backpack, irl CCT carries many bags with equipment, a work around to the minimal supplies is that CCT can wear the backpacks and is then granted more supplies, such as 3 additional equipment each.
4. Rappel from Heli
This has been suggested previously, and i mention it again, as it would be so ideal for many scenarios, such as locations with many obstacles/objects, or even when nutcases would not stop jumping on blades then blaming you for their own death. Once again, super needed, super helpful.
5. Incident Management
This topic has caused lot’s of controversy in the past, and to be legit. No, CCT should not be granted I/M qual, which includes cones and signs. Yes it may be helpful in mass casualty events, but the hastle of setting it up and also focusing on patients is over the top.
However, it does occur in many instances even when using a vehicle to safe-block, one side of the incident will not be covered, leading to Mclarrens running you over to prevent the healing of a MPS etc.
Here is a ideal work around which lets MO8 stay unique, and something helpful for CCT.
a) A form of Glowstick, it would work in a similiar way of a cone, but rather towards establishing a zone in occasional scenarios, rather than MO8s job of dealing with a mass scene, when some nutcases don’t even realise it’s a scene despite reds being on. (To prevent misuse, it can only be used by a certain rank +, and would quite literally not need any qual as it would mark the outline of patient(s) in the dark/on road.
b) A singular sign per person, before you scold me, it wouldn’t work in the sense of blockading a entire road, it would work in a sense to keep the other side of the scene on a road incident more reliably safe to heal, then getting run over. Calling MO8/CO is really timewasting for both specialists, especially when its not a mass casualty event, to prevent misuse, it can only be placed in a certain range with the CCT vehicle, preventing misuse. And regulations may be put in place by CCT Command. Once again, it is not a I/M qual, it is a singular medical sign, to be put on the other side of your vehicle when it is clearly pointed out that it is unsafe to proceed. (Only granted to a dedicated rank +)
c) Talking about incidents and the way it can be managed, CCT vehicles should be equipped with a Matrix on the back, to more efficiently deal with scenes and so that others can get the hang of it that there is a incident, and to formally proceed with the incident. And the matrix can be unique, such as “MEDICAL SCENE” etc.
6. Heli Callsigns
CCT was recently granted callsigns, which has helped a tremendous amount, but another suggestion which isn’t quite urgent, but i know will also be suggested for NPAS, is Heli Callsign. For both NPAS and HELIMED, having callsigns would help with preventing of sending un-necessary units to a location when HELIMED is already there, yes it may be stated via radio, but sometimes its easier to glance to the map on then bottom left, than scrolling through radio, and to also keep a good intel on where the Heli may be in some occasions. This isn’t quite urgent, but i am certain it will be suggested for NPAS too :).
Thanks for reading, all of these suggestions are all realistic, and reliable. It ensures proper procedures to be done effectively and doesn’t affect other divisions. CCT needs that update! Once again thanks for reading :D.
