Bus Drivers are the heart of London, a reason why it can be added ingame is to help people without any cars nearby. One could just hop to a bus stop and await a bus.

As there are no bus depots in Central London, the spawn of the buses would be London Victoria Bus Station, where the decor models currently sit.

In real life you have different bus operators running routes on behalf of TfL (Transport for London)

Routes that would be added would be shortened to their real life counterpart as they can bit fit. Don’t worry, this also happens in real life, so it would still add realism to the game rather than remove it.

Routes that would be added are the following:

38 / N38 - Operated by Arriva London, using New Routemasters
38 / N38 (its night counterpart) would run from Victoria Bus Station - Piccadilly Circus via Hyde Park Corner

I like this one too. Would be nice to finally be able to use those buses in-game as a civilian job. As for how it would work I think the devs could do something similar to how Omsi does it (in regards to showing you the route via arrows).

There’s already a red arrow thing that points to where you should deliver packages (when playing as DPD) so they could use a similar/same thing that points to all the bus stops on the route. So when you set off from the depot the red arrow points/goes to the first bus stop, then it moves to the next stop once you pass the current stop.

There would also need to be a timetable posted about the stops so civs know which bus stops where - and when. There would also need to be a clock added (maybe a HUD thing when driving) so the driver(s) can arrive on time. Civs can just use their phone to get the time.

If civs have to pay to get a ticket then, maybe, they select a location from a drop-down destination list and the server applies the charge. Either way it’d be nice to have an alternative way to get about the server, and in particular to Buckingham Palace, without the need for a car.

Yes this too! I would love for civilians to be using this instead of a car, and possibly pay a small fare of £2 to ride. Anyone failing to comply is an arrestable offence.
