I think for metropolitan Police and London ambulance service they should be able to ride bikes to buckingham palace or just to patrol it would be that the officer is equipped with a reflective vest a white helmet and the bike would be yellow or white plus it can go up to 20 to 30 mph and for LAS it would be the same bike but it would be yellow it would have their gear and for both bikes they would have siren and mini lights i think it would be a good addition as it would mean that if you can’t afford a Car you can simply ride a bike
The bikes are very cost inaffective
The response time for LAS would significantly decrease due to this, you have to remember you already access a free vehicle on every MPS/LAS class so it’s not so much of a deal if you can’t afford the next best vehicle.
