For those who were asking about uniforms during the deployment, I have created a forum were you can ask for the Sub-class, uniforms and tool that you were talking about.
I’d say add something, at the very least, ARD should have a private server. If anything, possibly adding their own uniform, division ranks, and or some sort of distinguish to represent ARD visibly. I wouldn’t say quals for undercover or armed units because this is an entry/education position and it takes away from all the other divisions while they all have covert.
While I am not against giving ARD some level of uniforms.
But covert, if you look at the MOs, not even 10% MOs normal members have access to covert. Giving access to that or firearms is just a no.
ARD should not get covert or armed units, It’s just an entry position so they should have uniforms that are special.
Can agree with the above responses, ARD really doesn’t need stuff such as covert or armed units as it will just take away the reason to join places such as the actual MO’s, it is really just a starting unit like mentioned to get used to being part of a divison to then later join into the MO’s with what you have learned.
I think ARD should have a Dark Blue uniform, long sleeves, and leg traser hostler. This is so we can identify ourselves in deployments and more.
Something like this example of uniform
When you want Special Uniforms, a Privat Server and Covert units then JUST JOIN MO7. If that all would be added it’s just MO7 without TSG and MU/B ![]()
A uniform, team bypass and a reserved server would be extremely helpful. However, I don’t believe there is a necessity for internal qualifications such as firearms or covert. This is meant to be an introduction into serious divisions which allows a constable to progress into specialist divisions with those aforementioned internal qualifications in their future career.
I really hope to add some of the most basic vehicles to us, such as the B530, which we need very much.
We are not currently planning on making any major implementation changes for ARD.
I will suggest some sub units,
We could have some sub units with a glock as a firearm whilst undercover and not having a holster but just plain having it in their inventory, If we look at specific MO’s they don’t even have access to covert without having to do an “internal application”, Whilst specific things may be kept in secret it would be a good idea to have some more officers support and represent the truth whilst undercover with a glock as a firearm in case things go south.
What I believe we should have is a vest similar to Violent crime task force, but instead of having VCTF on the vest we would have ARD. Maybe for qualifications we have covert unit and a armed unit just with pistols like a Glock. As per the vehicles we have undercover vehicles for who passed the covert operations qualification and for the issued vehicles having it written ARD on the sides or on the top
