If you have been subject to a infraction issued by LiveShield moderation then you are entitled to submit an appeal to the Senior Moderation Team.

In what circumstances can I appeal?
Appeals are only accepted in the following circumstances (the 4 appeal grounds):
- where the infraction was issued for content or behaviour that your account did not perform; or
- where there is new evidence which relates to whether or not the infraction is warranted; or
- where an error has been made by a moderator (for example, the wrong user was banned); or
- where the infraction issued was manifestly excessive (too long) or wrong in principle (for example, a suspension should’ve been issued instead of a ban).
You can only submit one appeal per infraction. The decision on your appeal is final. Creating further appeal topics will result in action being taken against you.
The Senior Moderation Team reserve the right to increase the severity of the infraction issued if they believe the original infraction issued is unduly lenient.

How long until my appeal is read and decided on?
The appeal process can take time. The Senior Moderation Team carefully reviews each individual appeal in depth and makes a decision as to whether or not it meets the criteria for being upheld. Most appeals are given a decision within two weeks.
If my appeal is accepted will I be unbanned/unsuspended?
The Senior Moderation Team will decide what action they take if your appeal is accepted. This could include the infraction being overturned completely, however, it is also possible for a reduction in punishment or length of punishment.
What can I do if my appeal is rejected?
If your appeal is rejected here, that is the final decision. Do not create further topics or attempt to get in contact with the Moderation Lead/Volute Developers as this will only result in further action against you.
