This is quite reasonable, the KS-1 is being rolled out to the British Army, along with the Royal Marines. As quite a respectable division in the grand scheme of the British Army, the Grenadier Guards would likely receive this rifle with great haste. This rifle is semi-automatic, and has a far higher damage than the existing rifles. It is suppressed, and could have stats that match that of MET’s SIG MCX.
This is one of many things, such as receiving medical kits which would support the Grenadiers to work and complete their jobs far more effectively.
Another thing is a riot shield, though not crucial it would be good for trojans, taskforce, grenadiers and COs (for MET ones) and RMP.
Great idea. I really strongly believe that we Grenadier Guards are limited by our lack of proper equipment. I think a new and better rifle would definitely be a good addition to the Grenadier Guards. GG is constantly in combat, especially when terrorist groups take over the Palace, and a new rifle would make our jobs so much more efficient.
I agree! Implementing this could benefit us Grenadier Guards in a way of safety and enhanced combat. A suppressor would be a really nice addition to our armory. Riot shields may be useful for situations where terrorists attack the Palace. Overall, I think this is a very good idea that will benefit and make us happier!
Amazing idea, should totally be added straight to the game due to the limitation of Grenadiers.
We are just trying to balance the game out judging how civilians are so overpowered as well as MET and we are one of the divisions that actually MAIN combat.
It just makes it fair for us all as we don’t want to face civilians with AWPs, med kits, TEC-9s, AK-47s and whole PPSH10s. It get really annoying how they can instantly obliterate us within about 2 seconds.
KS-1 Irl isn’t going to get to the Grenadier Guards at home for ages. It’s 5.56 just like the L85A2 though and irl would essentially do the same damage. For a primarily ceremonial role there’s not really any reason for a different rifle imo.
