Grenadier Guards, we cannot do our jobs. We need vehicles in order to respond to hostage situations regarding RF or the Monarch - a significant part of our job. We truly need vehicles, and ideally one with lights - so we can get there fast.
To make it simple, the normal van but allowed to violate basic traffic laws, so we can go and save the darn monarch when held hostage.
As a grenadier, I’ve experienced this personally, and I’m sure others remember Persist holding the Monarch hostage, and us taking over 10 minutes to even find a SG to give us a vehicle. It’s simply not okay.
I’m not a GG officer but I do agree with this, they need to respond to situations faster before someone messes up, or it escalates worse. If you give them a british army land rover, or the MAN truck that the british army has. I think it would work great with GG, as they will be able to resolve things faster. And get there without any problems. It’s up to what the devs think, but I hope you get what you need.

I highly agree with this statement. From a Support Guard’s perspective that has transported GG to hostage situations, it takes a while therefore lights would be a nice addition. Furthermore, if I had not been online as a Support Guard, they could be waiting there for quite a while for another opportunity for transport. Up to devs again but honestly is a great idea.

As a member of the Grenadier Guards I am often in games or in the VC where other Grenadiers are having to run from WB to the opposite side of the map, this is NOT ok as it opens them to being harmed by civilians before even arriving at the scene. It should also be added that it would assist in honour guarding too because if there is no 2nd car escorting the monarch the Grenadiers can’t escort them as they have no cars and they cannot be in the same vehicle as the monarch.

I can back up this message. Before he became a Grenadier he was already the backbone of the Grenadier Guards due to helping us with transport so much, without him most scenarios would have been a completely embarrassing failure.

Backing up this, since this would be useful for their deployments with trojans to.

Exactly, and trying to find someone else to drive several GG across the map is hard.

Along with this, Support Guards have to 100% follow road laws, which is not something we want to do when the Monarch is held hostage.

Agree mostly. There absolutely needs to be a vehicle GG can use. Having nothing is ridiculous. I understand the impact traffic laws have on response time, but I don’t agree about adding sirens or lights.

Personally I couldn’t support this enough, today we were deployed with Trojans and lost an unlawful amount of time just running from WB to NSY etc. It would be great to see a solution to this problem.

Just send the CTSFO’s and Trogans
Then that just defeats the whole point of GG.
(Also Trojans are CTSFO)
In real life GG guards guns are not supposed to work so the whole point of GG is defeated already
Yeah. I think we should get slightly faster vehicles with lights on them for hostage situations. Also, I wonder if we got cars when deployed like RMPs.
Lights are only used for emergency services (e.g. LAS/MET/Fire which isn’t in the game). Giving GG ELS would 1) Make no real world sense, and 2) Turn GG even more into a police force which they aren’t.
MET does policing, GG does ceremony with some combat, I feel like it should stay like that otherwise there will be no separation between the two.

If you want lights and sirens you should play on MPS, GG shouldn’t be needing them at all.

I agree, we don’t need sirens but if we had mini lights just to get through traffic that could probably make a difference.
Sirens or not, ELS is for the emergency services.
isnt hostage situations MO19’s responsibility…
Its also GGs responsibility kind of
