If you have no respect or interest in this division, why did you join it in the first place? You are clearly just mad that you’ve been removed.
Alot of the LG members do actually have a lot of combat experience, a lot of the time we die in game are by people running us over while we are on horseback and shooting us while we are still downed which gives us no way of being able to fight back.
Hopefully the next update is for all civilians.

I wouldn’t mind a civ update, playing for an hour gets pretty boring if your unable to raid the roof etc so I wouldn’t mind more stuff to do

True, we want a new way to access BP roof, have new guns, new cars, new buildings, new jobs, lots of shootings.
Is the end goal of this realism? Or making it so the civilians can resist MPS for longer periods of time.
If you want realism this is it, the prices of fully automatic weapons for civilians in this game is super low, it is so difficult to find cheap gun dealers (IRL) so the actual gun system for civilians is pretty lenient in that. If you want more guns that’d be great, but not super good for realism.
Furthermore, in real life the better funded organisation that has a legal route to purchasing firearms is going to outgun you, and be better equipped to handle situations.
If you want bulletproof cars on civ that’s cool, but in real life it costs A LOT of money to bulletproof cars, an X5 rated for rifle rounds can cost upwards of £150k on top of the car itself.
Overall i think that the civilian team is due for an update, but you need to seriously think what the end goal of an update would be, rather than just complaining about MPS being buffed and it being so hard to play against that.
We are paying money for guns, they are getting them by being in a division. That says alot.
As stated earlier the police are funded so they do not have to purchase their own firearms

In real life it’s a mix of funds from locals and national funding, it’s just realistic that they get guns for free as their job entails it
But it’s also not realistic that we have to pay millions for a single gun?
Considering the fact that they’re illegally smuggled into the city or made with the fact that they’re highly illegal it is fair to pay upwards of 150k for a fully automatic firearm.

I don’t fully understand your point, it’s realistic to pay a lot of money for automatic firearms. Not necessarily 150k, but that is because they are rare items in game. For example an MP10 is an automatic submachine gun, you will never get that for £750 in the UK, ever. The point of the vendors is so you can buy guns, it’s irrelevant if the in game police know about them here because they can’t do anything about it, it’s part of the game loop.
In real life the metropolitan police service is one of the biggest/high funded police departments in england and the world. Within the specialist firearms command (Which is MO19 here and in real life), MCX’s are used along with other rifles. In UK law they are authorised to purchase such firearms at the rates given to them by the manufacture, cutting the overhead you pay as a civilian. The officer don’t have to pay for these, as the service provides them to the officers whilst on duty (as it is their literal job to use them when needed).
As a civilian you foot the costs of smuggled firearms, they typically go through many different people and many different routes. You have to pay for that overhead, everyone wants to make money and you are that money that fills everyone’s pockets. It has to go through borders etc that police and authorised ones don’t.
The point here isn’t that the civilian team isn’t due an update, it probably is. I just don’t get your point here as quite literally you can get cheap guns that are automatic, the only exception being guns that are made extremely expensive as they are rare, in game.
