Completely roll back the car update, bar the cosmetic upgrades

well literally it is unbalanced if cops had nothing but no all their guns are buffed and better then our kriss vectors and famas which are the best civ guns, you can get 100k for a 10 seat bulletproof vcan which doesnt break, or basically free for the ones in MO19, and we are literally ALWAYS outnumbered by bulletproof cars, people with better guns then us, and stuff like pava making us unable to respond in close range, Bulletproof cars is 100k cash which is like impossible to get for 99% civilians, it’s just a very small part of people that can afford to have something like the advantage of MPS.

Womp womp.

Deployed OCGs routinely outnumber met divisions, the vector and famas are objectively better than the sig, you can argue otherwise but it is just objectively false to say the sig is better.

100k is easily achievable by groups that spend real world money on the game, which Met divisions do not have the option of doing to change the balance of the game. I guarantee the vast majority of OCG cars will be armoured in the next week. I will eat my words if im wrong.

I 100% agree with this, MO19 having to pay 100k just to get their car upgraded and re-armoured, then having to pay extra for faster speed to keep up with the new cars and new upgrades to the engines. MO8 can’t even do their job anymore. Who is going to be pursuing a level 5 engine McLaren or a level 5 engine Ferrari? Nobody. I do love the new changes, but MPS has become completely useless unless they buy all these upgrades to keep up with game movement. It would be so much better if the upgrades were free for divisions. or something to help balance it all out.

I think they should have kept all the cars at the same speed instead of all cars resetting to 15 mph and I think they definitely shouldn’t allow the civs to have bulletproof cars it masks it so more difficult for arv and mo19 to kill a armed suspect

Consider my timbers shivered.

Its crazy how all of yall start complaining when the update isn’t more benificial for the mps side. The same argument u guys use everytime is that its “unrealistic” the way they updated the civ side. While alot of things on the mps side can also be classified as “unrealistic”, and u dont hear any civs complaining about those things do u

Lets compare the unrealistic things from met team to the ones on civ? Could you lost some unrealistic met stuff please

What does mean all car nerfed? Like none of MPS car is armoured by defauld anymore (like AFO cars)?

I agree. Bulletproof civilian vehicles are a bit outrageous relating to MPS as it gets harder to catch unarmed/armed civilians. You are unable to taze and shoot the suspect. This kind of overpowers the other teams. But the rest of the update I would say fits well.

The people who disagree with civilians having the ability to bulletproof their cars are completely wrong. The car garage is an interesting new addition and why shouldn’t us civilians be able to armour our cars? It’s always the MPS whingeing because civilians get updates which benefit them, compared to usually how it is, the other way round! One of the first updates where civilians get more things to do and we have the devoted police officers here who just can’t stand their team being neglected and the civilians finally getting more things. You got your ANPR cameras, isn’t that enough compared to what you usually get every update with many new police features?

The MPS are always pleased when they get more powers, but not when civilians get more things to do!

It has nothing to do with “MPS feeling neglected”, it is about the balance of the game completely being thrown out the window.

To add on, if MPS, before this update, received armoured supercars and Kriss vectors, I would be just as against it, but that is not the case.

To your reply

I’m against the update for the points I stated and see no argument against them, I’m not blindly against any civilian update. As I said, I am fine with a number of things about the update.

You’re only complaining against the update because you’re a Commander and I assume MPS is your life…

Let me repeat again in the shortest and simplest way I can: Civilians didn’t get attention, now the team has been given updates, MPS don’t like that because your team hasn’t had the bigger additions, as well as the fact you want it to be so MPS have more power, and I’m not saying this particular comment is against any one person to make that clear.

Its not about the amount of things; the rest of the update is perfectly fine. Your cars being bulletproof ruins the balance and makes it way too unfair for officers

lordy the arguments over a roblox RP game are wild, people are entitled to their own opinion when it comes to these updates and frankly just getting up in eachothers faces on a forum post is a bad look for each side, I am sure if the leads think the update needs changing they can do some tweaks to the update in a later hotfix or etc to make some changes, think we forget this is supposed to be a roleplay game and not like Gta 5

You’ve beat me to it, yeah this is becoming more like GTA 5 :sob:. Civilians want this and that, yeah I agree they need more to spice up their gameplay. But the same applies to every team, you can’t have a cake and eat it. I know there is a strong bias and hatred for what the Metropolitan Police team receives, which the civilians finds it as an unfair advantage over them.

But the way certain people have expressed, wew it is like Metropolitan Police should not exist. Then what do you want the game to be? Yes I know y’all have something against Met Operations 19, but most of the time y’all are playing with other regular players that wants to be playing as a police officer, be it armed or unarmed.

Perhaps there has to be some other changes that would better add check and balance, which would be equal to all teams.
