Civilian Suggestion(s)

To be completely honest, the devs should be focusing on the high paying dedicated civilians as at the end of the day, they’re contributing the most to the devs wages and bring significant amounts of activity to the game. With regards to the prices being artificially inflated, these civilians haven’t just had these weapons handed to them, they’ve invested significant amounts of real money into them, and so therefore they should be able to influence the market prices.

Having TK not being enabled is not to make things unfair on the civilians, it is to stop MPS and RG COs not being flooded with hundreds of complaints on a daily basis with members of their own team killing them. It is also to try and alleviate the “Disadvantage” of the civilians being able to engage in combat situations first, with the MPS and RG only being able to fight in a reactionary manner. I am not saying that it is a problem that civilians shoot first, it is how it should be, but allowing civilians the same benefit not having TK enabled, whilst still being able to fire first, would be almost detrimental to how the game is played.

Also, while it would be nice for civilians to have more methods of earning money, an extra few hundred pounds here and there will not equate to the £200k+ required to purchase one of the useful weapons that civilians can obtain, with the prices being artificially inflated by organised crime groups. And while there can be an argument for “Well just purchase the weapons when a restock occurs”, the time window for that to happen is slim to the point it is not viable for the average player, and continues the cycle of only the people being able to purchase the weapons are the people who flood the game with money. The loadout idea can work if it is applicable to everybody. However, on the whole, the game is good for civilians as it is, and if too much power is handed to the civilian team, for example with combat drones, it will discourage people from joining serious divisions, as the equipment will not be able to suffice against an army of drones and millions of monies worth of criminal organisation trust funds.

Agreed, well said.

Most games have a feature where you can toggle teamkilling. This brings a fair and equal chance for everyone who wants to be in a organised criminal group and not be shot dead by your own teammate, that makes no sense being in a combat fight. Yes it’s unrealistic but then I would say take off the teamkilling for MPS/RG too and we have sorted that discussion.

For the weapon part, I don’t have much words to add onto it, as it is something we just do and want to have the best weapons in the game to give the divisions the best fights possible. Some Space Recon members are in a position in life to spend crazy money on this game while maybe some other people can’t. I can’t speak for others. Nor do I wanna judge about people’s money. It’s their life and their choices.

While you bring up certain good suggestions, most of the suggestions listed here are completely baseless and would cause more harm than good. Simply suggesting that TK will increase the work of CO’s who deal with abusers every single day. However the loadout system is something I can agree with it is very likely that it will not be implemented.

Defibs itself is a very weird point however I can see where you are coming from. From a realistic standpoint most individuals would not be able to operate a defib since they do not know how to calibrate one or charge one and NHS uses them since it is basically their job to do so and it shouldn’t be kept around the map as it is an expensive equipment kit.

Also for the drone thing please understand this is metropolitan London and not Ukraine

Apologies do not agree, some may add better gameplay experience however I think there are more important things. Just btw this is clearly ai.

Completely wrong, in the UK there are public defibrillators all over the place for members of the public to use during a cardiac arrest, the machines are made to be extremely interactive with a screen and speaker directing you where to stick the pads onto the patients chest, it then delivers the shock. These are meant for any random dude to use and require no skill

It doesn’t matter if it’s AI, it’s a suggestions page

The suggestions are mine. Fixed the English with AI.

I believe TK has nothing to do for u guys as CO. It helps the competitve side for the civilians and makes a even greater competition for the Trojans. You would like this feature being implemented, I’m 100% sure.

Without Trojan, Taskforce, RMP, GG or LG, there would be little incentive for people to stick around the BP community after they’ve played for a month or two. People would come and go, and it’d be just an arcade game. But instead, these divisions foster a sense of connection, skill and belonging in the community, which in turns makes the game a lot less 2D and boring.

The exact same goes for the civ team. Organisations like SR help keep people engaged with the game and foster a connection, that would otherwise just leave the game 2D and boring.

Imagine, if you will, a Buckingham Palace without Taskforce, without Trojan, without SR, without LG, without GG, without RMP. Does that sound like it’ll stay fun for someone after 2 months?

Speaking about the average player, do you think they find it absolutely riveting to get cuff abused, randomly tasered, have their cars clamped, fined when they only have 20£ and then arrested for not being able to pay fines?

Yeah like the other guy said they’re incredibly easy to use and essentially do it for you

There are many types of defibrillators, multiple of which are designed specifically to be used by members of the public. They consist of 2 buttons and 2 pads, and the defibrillator talks you through the entire process. Having them in game is not far fetched at all and would definitely improve gameplay for civilians.

Maybe not number 10 as some players could use this for inappropriate actions/ decals.

There is already a massive difference in terms of vehicles, a drone dropping “payloads” ?? (might be against ToS, idk) would only give civs another advantage. I also agree with his point about full auto weapons and don’t think there should be more advantages given to OGCs. Civs having a van with over 6 seats just doesn’t really make sense, and the point about misusing liveries someone else made is a fair one. 11/12 would just cause more lag imo without adding a whole lot. Loadouts could be useful but in practice they’d probably be more effort to implement than they’re worth, especially with the items in the shop regularly changing after updates. I thought 7 already existed with ATMs but if not I don’t see why it shouldn’t be a thing.
